Ok, this run was so much fun.
I was feeling a little under the weather before I went in so I made the decision to make it a light and fun run. What was really cool is the rec center has fun Fridays. One of the lifeguards had her hair done up in a massive spiked Mohawk, it was hilarious. I could see it through the window when I was on the treadmill and it made my whole morning.
Fun Fridays
After the workout in the locker room one woman came up to me and said, “nice tattoos!” and we started chatting. Saw some of the regulars, one other woman who was so incredible was really encouraging me and said she was proud of me for getting back into sport.
It was just overwhelming, I was just smiling ear to ear this morning, who knew that was possible on a run day!
