Here’s the group for our weekly strength training exercise in the park with Jason from BONDTraining

Last week Jason introduced a few new exercises and mentioned that it will compliment cycling, running and swimming.  It was pretty tough but we got through it, I notice that I had more strength in my hips/hamstrings/glutes.  An actual surge of energy and strength hit me right at the base of the hill, when I was commuting to work last week, I had no idea where it came from.  I felt more stable, stronger and sustained strength that I havent experienced before.  I was rock solid in my seat sprinting uphill with sustained energy.  I’m going to try to ride more out of the saddle to get that range of motion.  Jason has some really great tips.  Even to remind me to smile when I have to jog accross the field.  I tend to get a bit too serious.

We were all discussing after doing these workouts weekly that we feel stronger and notice a change, even Jason said that we look stronger.  It’s so amazing to see this type of progress.  Also to feel stronger is so incredible.   Look at Alex go!  He’s getting stronger every week!   He’s going to rock the Ride to Conquer Cancer this year, can’t wait to hear how he does.

There is nothing better than getting in a good workout with friends.  It really is a special bond that is shared.  Speaking of bond…..

superfriends!

superfriends!

Adriana & Hanna joined me for a workout with Jason at BONDTraining.  We used the elements around us at a park by SUGOI and worked out!

Let me tell you, it was one heck of an hour of exercise.  There was various grunts, groans and slight whimpers….in a good way.  We did sprints, upper body workouts, core strength exercises, you name it!

We came out of that workout refreshed, had a great sense of accomplishment and had the biggest grins on our faces.
It helped us relax from the day.  We also had some fun and a great time hanging out with each other.  This is one of the reasons why I like training with Jason at BONDTraining, not only do you get an amazing personal workout but he makes sure you are having fun as well.
It was his idea for me to bring along a few people and this really brightened up my day and tightened up my quads!
If anyone wants to join Jason at BONDTraining here is the info, it will change your life for the better!

I’ve been working with Jason at BONDTraining for a few months and not only have noticed such a difference in my own personal strength and confidence but also he really encourages people to help others, use what you have to help make the world a better place. He is all around an amazing person and here is one thousand steps that he took to help Athletics for kids.  www.a4k.ca

On November 14th BONDtraining took on the 1000 Rep challenge, benefiting Athletics for kids (www.a4k.ca) an organization which works to provide needy youth in the community greater access to organized amateur sport in conjunction with their academic endeavours.

Trainer Jason Bond of BONDtraining was joined by his brave client, who decided he wasn’t going miss this opportunity to take on a challenge and support an important cause. BONDtraining looks forward to participating next year – fitter, faster, and stronger – are you up for the challenge?

Check out the rest of Jasons videos and fitness tips at www.bondtraining.ca or on UTUBE  http://www.youtube.com/user/BONDtraining

Have a happy and healthy holiday week!
